How do I get scuffs/scratches out of the plastic front end of my car from daily driving?

That's a pretty tough one; usually they are just too deep in the surface to get out with rubbing compound, I have just sanded and repainted underneath ours.

thats what I may have to do.
Pull the front end off,sand it down and repaint/re-clear the whole thing.
