Default Clar barring is a B*^@!!!

Tee and I were going shopping today for a present for our grandson Dylan and going to my daughters for HIS birthday tomorrow. We decided we would take TWO cars like we usually do and wanted to take both of the lowered Black magnums. We only did a quick wash just to do some cruisin'!!!

Here is a picture of them both; we sure got a lotta looks today!

Then.....
we got home and Tee came inside to do laundry and I had bought some Turtle WAX "liquid clay bar" and decided I'd clean up the latest car we just got. Looks like it's been a LONG time since this one has really had a good detail.
When I read the directions on the clay bar, it says after you clay bar then you need to wax! Way more work than I wanted to do and took me about four hours; but it DOES look way better ~ IMO~

Here is a few pictures clay barring, polishing and waxing.... (Not bad for 148,000 MILES!)

It is a B*^@ but when you are done with it the paint is so silky smooth and the depth of the paint looks amazing. Time consuming, yes but well worth it in the end.

Your car looks very nice, I have clayed quite a few cars, but have never heard of
using a liquid product before, I use an actual clay bar (plasterstine type material),
it's not hard at all to use and also gets great results.

I clay bared mine right after i got it. Wasnt too bad, easier than I thought. I use an insulator wax made by 3M. It goes on easy and comes off easy, and lasts too. I put it on in spring and then in the fall.
Looking good!!

Good to know, I've never heard of an insulator wax before, whats the actual name on the container?.
