about wheels?

I'm used to the old muscle cars where you had a gazillion choices in wheels. But most of my searches for 17 & 18" x 7-8" say they don't Magnum's despite being the correct pattern and offset. Can anybody tell me what it could be as to why they may not fit? I'm a little old school and I don't want to go to the 20's and 22's for the look I want. Thanks

18 may be as small as you can go, at least on the front. Mostly it boils down to them clearing the brake rotors.
