Where's the voltage regulator ?

Soooo...back to the fluctuating headlights & dash lights.
'05 RT; headlights & dash lights fluctuate at idle, steady while driving.
I'm thinking that this may be caused by a wonky voltage regulator. Is the regulator a separate unit or is it incorporated into one of the "CM"'s?
Any info is greatly appreciated !

Not positive but I think it's controlled by the PCM.

The alternator has a built in regulator, It sounds to me like the alternator is about to go or maybe a slipping belt.
I believe the PCM controls just the relays for the lights, not the power going to them.

PCM controls voltage. Usually when this happens there have been two fixes, upgrading the major ground straps (neg batt to chassis and engine to chassis) or PCM replacement.

I'll check the ground straps first. Hope that will fix this problem.
