Question Frustrated

I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT AWD, and was wondering if anyone has experienced a grinding sound when you turn the wheel left or right just backing up the car or starting to move forward when the wheel is still turned? The grinding sound disappears as soon as you straighten the wheel and start to drive? By the time I get the car to someone to take a look at it the sound disappears. I am leaving for a long road trip and would like to know if there is a major concern I should address before leaving?

Gary

Take a look at your front CV joints on the axles, see if you have any grease blow out and/or if the boots are intact.
