may be getting a Diablo Predator Tuner

I'm thinking about getting it this week.

How many of you out there have the tuner running on an '05 R/T??? Saw where they fry on some cars..... I've looked forward to getting one for a while now, but don't wanna be shipping defects back and forth.

Also, how 'necessary' is the PC hookup???

I have mine, and I downloaded the 9r12 crom, so you can disable the EGR and MDS. When I bought my predator I was told that the new ones would not allow you to download the 9r12 but mine did just fine. I had no problems with the car or the predator. Makes a great difference!

Being a computer dummy when I got mine, it would NOT download onto the car. It took me almost a year to find someone that could figure it all out. Finally hooked up to mine ~ but decided to use it on the SRT, NOT the R/Ts. It sure did make a lot of difference though. And... I only used the 93 Octane stock Tune.

I use the CAI 93 octane tune on my SRT8. Made a real difference from stock. I haven't had any issues.

tuner was delivered today!!!!

loaded the 91Oct CAI tune and modified it for my wheel size and disabled the MDS...... It's like a completely different car......AMAZING.
