Old good Magnum clutch

Hey there,
Maybe that is not the right forum for my question, but I haven't found anything suitable for our vehicle. It is a 1981 Magnum (VIN says it was made in Brazil, it is a 2-dr coupe and the vehicle looks similar to our Dart).
Anyways, wanted to ask those, who are familiar with this vehicle. It is a 5.2 L V8 and has got 4-speed manual gearbox, and there's a problem with the clutch. It works, but the pedal is kinda hard to hit. Plus, it won't keep in pace and it seems like it's missing something and is loose. I was wondering, maybe anyone knows what this all is about?

A quick update, folks. A friend of mine looked into the problem yesterday, and he is more skilled in the mechanical stuff... So, he diagnosed the clutch spring failure (https://www.carid.com/clutch-springs/), and when I get the new one in, it is supposed to hold the pedal at its place. Decided to post the update here just in case someone will face the same problem....

Good looking out, but I doubt it will be a problem as this forum is dedicated to the newer 05-08 Magnum wagon and not the old B or R body...
