Pretty sure I want to buy a car in my locale. 2006 midnight blue magnum SE 2.7L rwd.

However, it has some problems and things is like to know if I can successfully upgrade before I buy.

Problems : previous owner swapped the instrument cluster of and the odometer dishonesty reads 129k instead of the 152k it actually should be. I learned this via the carfax that the dealer pricked me. The car fax doesn't explicitly mention the cluster swap, but stated that the mileage d 151, 797mi when it was sold to the mom and pop dealership 5 months ago. It also states that the car is exempt from odometer readings and d it stolen for less than 10 days (probably just an unauthorized use, since the title is clean). I spoke to a big box authorized dodge dealership and they said as long as the ECM is original to the car they should be able to read the actually mileage of and provide me with documentation proving it. Dodge dealership said they could theoretically send out a new instrument cluster with the correct preprogrammed (and correct) mileage for about 650 plus tax.


Rear wiper doesn't turn on
Most likely a switch, possibly the assembly itself, but I wouldn't know til I buy it and test it out more.

Since it is the SE model it's not supposed to have foglights or auto off. If I buy after market foglights, headlights, and a switch that has the auto off feature, can I make it auto on/off capable or do I have to flash the computer, or is that simply impossible?

Rear trunk latch button seems to be able to open even when the car has been locked with the key fob. Wondering if this was a common problem or if I needed to swap out some parts? I work at a casino so having a car that you can break into easily is a bad time waiting to happen.
