Lowering springs

Now, all things being equal, I think I'd bag the Magnum. But since I don't have $3 grand burning a hole in my pocket, lowering springs it is. So now the question is, what brand, how much lowering, and what about alignment issues does everyone out there have. I'm thinking about 1.5-1.75" drop. Thoughts?

I'm considering the Eibach with a 1" drop. Not too severe, but it shouldn't stress the other front end suspension components as much.

Cost is around $300 ISH

I ended up with the Sportlines. 2" drop. Looks perfect. Firmed up the ride a fair amount, but I hated how soft the stock ride was. Later paired them up with some KYB shocks and struts. It is a bit low, but I made it through this past years horrible winter fine.
