Anyone out there that's done a shorty header swap? I've heard it's a horrible pain to do. Are the gains worth the effort? I can assume there's an increase in sound as other header swaps I've done in the past were always accompanied by it. I don't wanna do a long tube swap either. Input?

IMO it is not worth the effort as very minimal gains should be expected. Even on my SuperCharged 300SRT I have stock manifolds.

Kinda figured. I'd love to run some form of boost. Had a supercharger on my Focus that I had before this car, and NOS on the Stang before that. I'd really like to do turbos this time. But sadly, I don't have 10 g's for it.

Luckily for ME, I bought a 300 Super Charged SRT completely DONE, Forged bottom end, Builder Bill trans, 2300 stall converter, heavier rear end gears, LSD rear axles, front and rear strut tower braces, dual Walbro fuel pumps and so much more. ONLY mod I could do was changed out to a Hurst shifter; everything else was complete including all BT items under hood, pedal kit, embroidered floor mats; Man O Man, I love this car along with all of our others! Previous owner had almost $90,000 invested in this bad bad boy! My baby though is still my 06 Mag SRT just turned 12,000 miles!
