Hellcat engine swap to 05 RT awd ?
|
The transmission question is answered as the NAG 1 was used on 600 HP Benz V12s.
There seem to folks wrecking Hell Cats right and left.
As mine has 110K on it, running great, (I wayyyy overdo maintaining it), I wonder how hard the swap would be ?
Shame the morons at Fiat/Chrysler missed the opportunity to make the world's second AWD Super Wagon (the 1st the no longer available Audi Q7 with the 6.0L V12 TDI).
Whadda think ?

Based on what I've heard on some of the other forums it appears that the stock AWD drive train probably won't hold up to the HP.

Imagine you're correct in a "daily driver" situation. But for 500 miles, it could be a real sleeper!

You'd blow the t-case the first time you romped on it lol, if not the front diff. There is a reason there was never any AWD SRT's other than the GC.

The trans won't be a problem, it's the size of the transfer case I imagine.
