I've got he R1 Concepts double drilled & slotted with Hawk HPS pads on the Challenger. World of difference. Feels good not to have a spongy brake pedal.

I got pretty lucky on ONE of our four 05 R/Ts as the previous owner had already put slotted rotors on this car. They work GREAT!

It is a nice upgrade.

Most folks that I've seen on the forums are buying R1 Slotted & drilled rotors and they seem to like them. I have NOT had to buy any yet myself.

Default Any feedback on Callahan Brakes

I've seen a listing for Callahan brakes online (ebay and their own website). Nice (looking) powder coated calipers with slotted & cross drilled rotors. Wondering if they are any good. Dont want cheap quality, but dont want to drop $1500 to get the SRT8 Brembo package either. Also thought about powdercoating a set of calipers from Autozone, at least that way I'll have a warranty and readily available parts if needed. Anyone have any thoughts on this.

Default New Brakes

So as you can tell from my profile I'm NEW here, but not new to the car mod scene.
Here is my idea.. Big cars need big brakes, just check out the vw touareg and the Mercedes S55. These two cars have inspired me...

I just put Baer Decela's on my 07 Mag... with EBC Red Stuff pads. Total was about $750, with a minor hiccup (I drive an SXT with a police package, which changes the type of rear rotor you use).

BUT DANG, I was expecting squeaking after the install due to new pads. QUIET AS CHURCH GRAVE YARD.

And this thing finally stops like it should.
