Dog Divider Installed

Finding a decent divider to keep my dog in the hatch area has been difficult. I ended up using an adjustable divider and cutting it apart to make it work.

I mounted it by putting it over the seat back hooks so the seat backs "clamp" it in place. I had to put a decent bend in the divider so it met up with the ceiling properly. I also pop riveted some sheet metal on the ends where it rests over the seat back hooks so it was in the correct position vertically.

I'm happy with the fit, but I plan to use this as a template to make a better finished version (without the joining plates and sheet metal) once I get my welder.

Well done. I would not mind something like that just to make sure my camping gear does not end up on my kids in a accident.

What company's divider did you end up with?

I used this one, but it didn't fit at all before I modified it.
