Question I have a question about my sunroof

I just purchased a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT.
I noticed a small gap at the back of the sunroof gasket, It does not seem to leak when it rains, but if I pull back the shade with the glass closed, I can hear wind noise. My question is, is this normal? Should I invest in a new gasket? Put a little RTV in it to seal it up? I'm kind of befuddled.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a similar issue with the sunroof on my 2006 Magnum RT. I read on another forum that the sunroof can lose its "park position" which causes it not to close completely. I found a Dodge Service Bulletin (23-040-06) which details a procedure for recalibrating the sunroof to potentially fix this problem. I haven't tried this procedure on my Magnum yet (need another person to pull fuse while sunroof is in motion in order to clear the current (corrupt) calibration). See if this helps you and I'd appreciate some feedback if it was successful. I will do the same as soon as I can get to trying this on my Magnum. FYI, my concern is the bulletin talks about the fix also requiring (??) some reset with Dodge's StarScan tool, which I obviously don't have. Has anyone else on this forum had a similar experience, with a possible solution?

I tried uploading the bulletin, but got an error message that the file exceeded the forum's maximum upload size. Anyone know how to get around that restriction? The file is a PDF.

Break it down into smaller, multiple files & upload individually. Size limit is size limit.....

Hey bro, I had the same issue just a few weeks ago where my roof wouldn't sit flush with the roof but closed enough to seal it from the rain. I found the same fix you're talking about and did it myself. You can do it by yourself also, you just have to move a little quickly to pull the fuse when the roof gets about halfway. I can say that it did work and now it's flush with the roof
