Default Painting valve covers

So I was changing plugs last week, and I was thinking, "Man, those valve covers need something done with them." So me being the person that can't leave things stock, I was wanting to take the valve covers off, and paint them with a black crinkle paint so they look like the 528 crate motors. First, are the valve cover gaskets reusable? I don't want a leak. And two, anyone ever painted them? Suggestions or comments?

I haven't YET, but with having FOUR 05 RTs I bought an extra set of valve covers and I want to have these powdercoated, then put them on one of the cars, while pulling the old ones off that car and having them powdercoated, eventually swapping out all FOUR sets with the powder coated one.

That'd be best to have an extra set, but I think I'll just yank them off and try painting them. I might even get froggy and paint my calipers while I'm at it.

I have painted all the calipers on ours, but need to redue the ones on my 300SRT as the previous owner replaced one front Brembo rotor so this one is NOT the same color as the rest. Have the high temp paint already and my car is still at Arringtons in Virginia for the new tune on my procharger.

are you using the caliper paint, or just a high temp engine paint?

I have been using High Temp paint; I now have some actual Caliper paint kits which I did not have at the time I painted the others, however the high temp paint is really holding up well; been over a year now and about due for a new coat.
