SRT 8 cat delete

As I understand it...the SRT8 exhaust is somewhat restrictive. I plan to have a MOD done for that. From my Honda Civic Si days a CAI, Race Headers, and a less restrictive cat back would yield better fuel economy and power. The ECU would compensate some for the bolt on's...then one could get a tune later on.
So the big question is would some Kooks off road connection pipes mate up with stock header and catback...if so would it throw the ECU in to a tizy?

If you remove the cats you'll definitely throw some codes from the rear O2 sensors. Spacing them out by using some spark plug anti-foulers may help but not sure if they will keep the CEL off without a tune.
