Thanks

For any year, do the back seats fold FLAT with the floor of the cargo area?

Hey Folks!
I have a question, what is the earliest build dates on the Magnum? My sticker in the door is saying 6/04. I figured thats pretty early. Is this correct? The title says 05 Magnum which is correct since most manufactures build cars mid-year, but I have never seen one sticker before August.
BTW the only thing I have replaced is the outer tie-rod ends and last week the original battery.
Thanks and God Bless...HT

The very first ones were built in January-February '04 if I remember correctly. Some people on other forums bought theirs in March '04.
Cars made before August '04 are considered "early builds".

Hey Guys,

Can you elaborate on the Aug/04 Problems? I just bought a R/T and its build date is 9/04.

Sept 04 builds are not considered "early builds" so no worries for you.
Early models had some electrical glitches on a few vehicles but nothing major either way. My 05 RT was also a September build. Enjoy the car.

I agree with JayTee: The only thing I have had to do to my Magnum is replace the leaking transmission O-ring at 120K. Change spark plugs for maintenance at 110K. 2 tie rods at 50K and I replaced the rotors and pads after I had a Moe and Ron shop work on it and the rotors warped at 125K. Currently we are at 142K and it runs just fine.
