About cracks in the body...

As I thought, finding an SRT-8 in good shape is not easy but I may have just run into some luck. Found a nice silver '06 though it seems to have been fiddled with, it only has 48k miles on it and is not a clone. You can clearly see the wear and tear of an '06 vehicle. It's missing the HEMI 6.1 plastic valve cover covers, wheels have seen a side walk or two, seems to have been vapor shampooed inside at least once, low slung bumpers have cracks left from crossing deep rain gutters without precaution, and it has been repainted at some time. No signs of speed bump damage underneath or wrinkles in what can be seen of the unibody and I walked around it with a magnet to try to find plastic filler, none found anywhere it shouldn't be. What I did find that worries me was a crack in each corner of the top where it meets the corners of the trunk lid. Is this something to expect given the weight of the trunk lid? Or is it result of something major that was otherwise very well taken care of and hidden? I haven't bought the vehicle yet. Will run the VIN through carfax but some tidbits of the cars life can be missing, even there Thanks for any help here.
