Question LED vs Halo?

Which looks best or requires minimal maintenance.

To be perfectly HONEST: I love the look of BOTH but I don't want either just because of the numerous problems folks have had with BOTH!

The CCFL (Cold Cathode Flourescent Light?) looks very clean and sharp whether upclose or far away.
The LED's are IMO are not as sharp and crisp.

Performance wise I would say that the CCFL's are much more reliable as long as you mount the inverter outside of your headlight.

LED's can and will eventually start burning out in groups of 3's. Then it's a PITA ripping your headlights open everytime to replace or repair them.

Installation wise, LED's are way way way easier to install. Just some good 3M double back tape they are basically in.
The CCFL's are very delicate and most people will end up breaking at least one if not more trying to do the install.

It's one of the greatest head turning mods out there but such a PITA and can be very frustrating to some.
I know all of this first hand!

I have been using HID lights for 4-5 years, and so far so good. They have excellent bright white light but not bright enough for people to think they are on high beam.

I'm not sure who makes them. I bought the car used with them in already.
