It's located under the dash near the steering column.

I have looked for it there, but there is firewall is type of stuff covering it. I have seen that someone else has cut out a square hole,, but I don't want to cut something else while I'm trying to access the connector.

Should be exposed at all times, if it's covered somehow then someone has messed with things.

The vehicle was purchased new, and has not been messed with. Looks to be manufactured that way. I will take a picture and post it so you can see what I mean. Thank you for all of your help.

If it's not cut out you'll need to drop the cover to access. I would cut the opening before I put it back.
