Default My ProCharger is in for Rebuild.

Talked to the ProCharger company on the phone today and they have my unit at inspection and will call me when they find out the rebuild and upgrade cost to make it a D1 unit. They said I should get a call sometime later this week.

Some sad news for me today.............

I'm extremely dissapointed with the call from ProCharger today as the cost is so much MORE than I had expected.

Cost to rebuild to same Ps1 = $2303

Cost to rebuild to upgraded DS1 = $2744
Cost for Brand NEW ProCharger DS1 = $ 2929

I honestly knew that was NOT going to be a cheap FIX but was actually hoping no more than $2000

I have searched Ebay and best price there for a new DS1 unit = $2799.99 and another place $2779.

Looks as though I'll be saving for a while longer..... sigh.....

how many miles on your pro-charger? I have just over 10K on my '06 Magnum (stock 6.1L hemi other than magnaflo cat-back ehaust) Chassis dino is 503 at rear wheels for mine.. no idea what engine dino would be. So far I luv it but always worrie about how reliable the unit is.

My P1 ProCharger head unit had about 60,000 miles on it and I just put the NEW D1 head unit on and waiting NOW to get a retune.

Mine with the P1 (lots of mods to engine, exhaust, dual fuel pumps, 1/2" fuel lines, new injectors, new fuel rails,) etc ect. Mine was dyno'd at 643 BEFORE the new head unit which should give me about 5lbs more boost. I get a new tune and dyno again. Also have a Paramount trans, 2300 stall converter, Billy Boat 4" stainless exhaust system.
