Default 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD?

I'm looking at a 2005 Magnum R/T AWD. It has 168k miles (268k kms) so I'm worried about the high mileage plus the ad says it's tuned. How reliable are these at high miles? The guy said he'll take $4.5k. Would you pull the trigger? This is going to be our winter/family car so I want it to be reliable.

Also, how are these in the snow? I've read that plenty of people are happy with them in the snow but has anyone had one of them and a good 4x4 and found them comparable? We have a 4x4 now and I don't want to take a step back in traction after the winter we've had.
