30 years as a firefighter/paramedic. Retired in'01.

Work 1 Off 2, And no one shoots at you, Go Figure!

Police Officer with the N.Y.P.D. for 13½ years on the streets of Brooklyn.

Disability retirement 12/31/1981.

Not sure if this counts.....Corrections Officer at MCDEC Quantico Correctional Facility from '83 - '86 while in the USN.

Twenty seven years... Patrol Division, Motors, Air Support (helos), Tactical Training Officer, Felony Fugitive Unit and on a Federal Task Force (back and forth between SoCal and South Florida)... ended up in Detective Division as a response detective.

Shot once.. round hit the "A" pillar, bounced off and hit me in the mouth (knocked out my two front teeth). Found the bullet lodged in my jaw.

Crushed two vertebrae and shattered my left arm in a collision...

Took a disability two and a half years ago... figured my luck was runnin' out (lol)
