Help me fix my Maggie!

Hello, I am new to this forum and I have a question for someone who is mechanically inclined. I just replaced my starter last week and on the way home I lost power. The car acted like the battery was dead and died as I was driving. I charged the battery and it happened again. I replaced the alternator only to learn that my original alt. is working fine. So now I am lost as to what to troubleshoot next. This is a new issue that has only been happening for the last few days. My battery is new and holds a charge but my car will kill my battery in 5 minutes to where my car will not start. Any ideas where I need to start troubleshooting?

If this started after you installed the starter, I'd be looking at it and make sure you connected all the wiring correct.
